We were contacted by a homeowner in Denver who wanted to breathe new life into their outdated fireplace wall. The original structure lacked character and function, and our client envisioned something more modern, balanced, and visually striking.
Our solution was a full transformation:
We began by demolishing the old façade and prepping the surface for a fresh build-out.
The central portion was clad in elegant white stacked stone, creating a textured focal point that beautifully reflects natural light.
A dark-stained wood mantel was added across the stone section for warmth, dimension, and traditional balance.
On the left side, we installed sleek vertical black wood slats that added a modern architectural touch. The TV was wall-mounted directly onto this accent area, and all cables were neatly concealed.
On the right side, we mirrored the slat detailing and integrated three floating open shelves, perfect for display or storage, all finished to match the overall tone.
The result is a stunning fireplace wall that now anchors the entire room—a mix of modern, rustic, and functional elegance.
