In this recently completed project in Chicago, Illinois, we delivered a stunning, custom-designed media wall that perfectly blends function and modern aesthetics. This installation features a classic floor-to-ceiling build-out with a clean and sophisticated structure tailored for both entertainment and ambiance.
At the heart of the design is a built-in flush-mounted TV, seamlessly integrated into a niche for a clean, streamlined look. Just beneath the TV, a soundbar has been professionally installed into its own custom niche, providing not only high-quality audio but also maintaining a clutter-free design.
One of the main highlights of this project is the contemporary three-sided electric fireplace—also referred to as an “aquarium-style” fireplace—which provides a wide and immersive flame view from multiple angles. It serves as a beautiful focal point, adding warmth and elegance to the entire space.
Framing the main structure on both sides are vertical decorative wood slats that bring warmth, texture, and depth to the overall wall. These high-quality wood slats add a refined architectural accent, elevating the entire room.
Everything was finished with precision and painted using Sherwin-Williams premium interior paints, ensuring durability and a flawless finish.
